The Easiest, Simplest and Cheapest Way to Help Gain or Lose Weight: Chewing

New research has uncovered a way to help you lose weight and reach your fitness goals which could not be simpler, and best of all, it's free!.

A recent study by Lincoln University, New Zealand, has found how we chew our food has real dietary effects. Lincoln University's Plant & Food Research scientists found how you chew your food effects digestion, thus affectting the release of energy (calories) and therefore weight loss and/or gain. The more you chew your food, the more easily digestible it is. The more easily digestible the food, the faster energy is released. Conversely, the less you chew, energy is released more slowly. Furthermore, the less you chew, the more full you will feel and for longer. Both of which will help you lose weight.

Thus if you are looking to lose a few pounds, it may be just as easy as chewing less. Energy is released more slowly, allowing you to burn it over a longer period, without it turning into fat. Moreover, you will feel full for longer, simply because there will be something in your stomach for a longer period. However you have to be careful not to eat faster as well, since eating faster means you eat more (and of course be careful not to choke).

On the other hand, if you are trying to bulk or lead an active lifestyle, you need lots of calories and fast, especially after a workout. Chewing your food a great deal will assist in making this happen

So, changing the way in which you chew your food is a simple and free way to help you reach your fitness goals.
